Menorah LightingsThe Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) Menorah Lighting and Hanukkah Celebration features Hanukkah songs with Rabbi Glusman, lighting of the menorah , jelly doughnuts and hot chocolate Dec. 12-14. 5:15-6 p.m. Free. The Menorah Lighting at Avalon, organized by Chabad of North Fulton, includes kids' activities, face painting, photo opportunities with a giant dreidel and treats. Activities take place in The Living Room, between Cafe Intermezzo and Pinkberry. Dec. 13. 6 p.m. Free. Help build and light the world's largest coin Menorah as Chabad of Cobb hosts a grand lighting at East Cobb Park. Coin contributions are requested, benefiting children undergoing treatment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Festivities include music, holiday activities, doughnuts and latkes. Dec. 17. 5:30 p.m. Free. Congregation Ner Tamid hosts an outdoor Menorah Lighting celebration at the Glover Park stage in Marietta Square. Activities include holiday music and children's games plus free hot chocolate and jelly doughnuts. Dec. 18. 6:30-7:30 p.m. Free. Chabad Intown hosts several Menorah Lightings with holiday music, balloons, dreidel games, doughnuts, hot latkes and beverages. Free. Avondale Estates, City Green. Dec. 17, 4 p.m. Decatur Square, Dec. 18, 6 p.m. Hanukkah Stories and SongsTemple Beth Tikvah hosts the Jewish bluegrass musical group Nefesh Mountain for a spirited live Hanukkah concert celebration. Dec. 16. 7:30 p.m. $5, benefiting The Drake House. The Children's Museum of Atlanta hosts Celebrations in Light: Hanukkah. Rabbi Glusman from the MJCCA leads a Hanukkah story time with music and dance. Dec. 17. 11 a.m. and noon. Ages 1 and older, $15.95. Hanukkah Story time. Listen to stories about Festival of Lights and hear guest author Laurel Snyder read aloud from some of her popular titles at Little Shop of Stories. Dec. 17. 3 p.m. Free.
